I've been driving a Scania R450 since October 2025 and it achieves very low averages!
My trips are from Portugal to Italy, I do many domestic trips in France, I have been carrying an average weight of 20 tonnes and the consumptions in the months of June and July 2026 were 19.7 L / 100 Km and 19.8 L/100km respectively! Even my Scania trainer called me, for me to confirm the weights!

I look and marvel... I'm the owner of a Scania P280 22ep 9 m box with a 10-ton payload! It's simply a jewel for anyone who has the driver's touch... at an average of 85 km/h at full load it shows consumption of 15-17% max ! It also depends on who drives... if all the shepherds from Gorj drive with brutal accelerations it's normal to consume... consumption comes from the pedal, not the cruise!

I got this machine a month ago, really it's a champion in almost everything, in condition, efficient, powerful, comfortable. The only thing that failed is the tachograph — in one month it was changed twice…. The rest very good! 100% recommendable

Bought a year ago ,convinced I had made the right choice despite a brand that charges a lot, I found it RIGIDDDD so it causes strong back pains, even though I bought a full pneumatic setup,then I found many other negative things inside the cab ,for example narrow bed,poor night heating,buttons to turn on the cabin lights positioned under the steering wheel left side,uncomfortable,etc.etc.Anyway,the most serious thing is the rigidity in my case the back pains are so severe that I am forced to take back my old MAN truck. Anyone who wants to buy a new Scania, should think 2 times.
